Introduction

The first potato industry forum for the Australian Potato Industry Extension Project is being planned for the afternoon of the commencement day of the Hort Connections Conference in Adelaide (15 May 2017 at 2:30 – 5:00PM). This will follow the SA Potatoes luncheon at the same location in the SA Convention Centre.

The industry forums are designed to deliver on the three components of awareness, review and planning. The program will have short 15-20 minute presentations and it is intended that these presentations will provide both a review of recent activities, highlight developments of relevance to the industry and create an awareness of new technologies that could be pursued in research or extension activities in the future.

Forum participants will also be encouraged to participate in a simple planning and discussion session aimed at assisting Arris in the formulation of the plan for future extension activities that are relevant and well aligned with industry needs.

The forum is open to anyone with an interest in the potato industry, is free of charge and your attendance is encouraged and your inputs and contributions to our planning process is valued. Attendance at the SA Potatoes luncheon is not required for you to be a part of the forum.

Please complete the simple registration form below if you are intending to be at the forum.
